Video Editor

The Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with other team members and church staff to conceptualize story ideas
  • Use Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Apple Final Cut Pro to assemble recorded video footage, graphic elements and audio into finished projects matching the direction of the technical director
  • Demonstrate the ability to visually tell a cohesive story
  • Create rough and final cuts of multi-camera video projects
  • Assist with lighting and on-set production needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Authentic follower of Christ; pursuing the Lord with hear, mind and soul; passionate about evangelism
  • Fully committed to the vision and values of Church Unlimited
  • Self Starter with entrepreneurial work ethic who also likes to have fun
  • Must demonstrate in-depth, working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or Apple Final Cut Pro
  • Must have working knowledge of other professional video related hardware and software typically used in the editing process
  • Must demonstrate sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill, and knowledge of current media trends
  • Must be able to work well alone and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with professional video production procedures, practices, techniques, and terminology
  • Experience with field production, digital post-production, various video formats and transcoding, encoding and final authoring for distribution
  • Ability to prioritize and address multiple, concurrent projects, with varying production timelines
  • College degree, and/or equivalent experience, preferred

Videographer

The Videographer is responsible for organizing, shooting, and editing video footage.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with other team members and church staff to conceptualize story ideas
  • Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production
  • Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
  • Assist with finding and securing shoot locations
  • Assist with finding, vetting, and interviewing subjects
  • Assist in developing interview questions and storyboards
  • Post-produce content for final delivery to audience
  • Other duties as assigned

Associate Campus Pastor

Under the direction of the Campus Pastor, the Associate Campus Pastor is to assist in the leadership of the campus.

Essential Job Functions

  • Communicate the vision, mission and values of Church Unlimited
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the campus
  • Oversee First Impressions, Life Group and Weekend Prep Ministries
  • Identify, recruit and develop key ministry leaders in First Impressions, Life Group and Weekend Prep Ministries
  • Assist with any follow-up to first-time guests, including overseeing weekly assimilation
  • Help to identify problems, find solutions and handle conflicts
  • General administrative and data entry responsibilities
  • Assist Campus Pastor in planning, leading and executing special events and outreach opportunities
  • Assist in leading weekend services
  • Teach in small, medium and large group settings
  • Assist in performing other pastoral care responsibilities – weddings, funerals, baptisms, child dedications and coaching/mentoring as needed
  • Communicate with the Campus Pastor on a regular basis to ensure cohesive vision and maintain a trust-based working relationship
  • Other duties as assigned

Skill/Ability/Knowledge Requirements

  • Volunteer recruitment and management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership/management/relationship skills with ability to work with and motivate teams
  • Knowledge and experience with digital technology and social media
  • Detail oriented with strong written, verbal communication, and public speaking skills
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web searches
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively balancing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Bachelors degree preferred
